Sedum 'John Creech' (Non-Native)

A very low mat-forming selection, especially useful in hot, sunny locations. In summer, this stonecrop has mauve-pink starry flowers with rounded deep-green leaves—a great lawn substitute for small to medium-sized areas, as well as between flagstones or rock gardens. As long as drainage is good, plants will tolerate poor soil. They are propagated by breaking off pieces and sticking them in the ground in mid-spring. Occasionally tolerates light foot traffic. During the spring, mowing or pruning should be done. In mild climates, this plant may be evergreen.
