Sedum ‘Bertram Anderson’ (Non-Native)

Stonecrop creeping selections are excellent groundcover plants for hot, dry sites with poor soil. This variety forms a low carpet of small, burgundy-black leaves that spread to form a small patch. In late summer, purple-red star flowers appear in clusters. Slow growing, this is an excellent plant for rock gardens and edging, as well as tubs and mixed containers. Propagation is easy; simply break off pieces in early summer and plant them. In early spring, trim back stems and dead flower heads.
