Penstemon parryi
Also known as Desert Penstemon, this hummingbird favorite features long spikes of magenta pink, bell-shaped flowers in clusters at the end of stalks. Paired leaves are pale green and arrow shaped. Loved by butterflies as well! It withstands extreme temperatures, does well with little water. Plant in full sun to filtered shade and provide good drainage. It reseeds readily. This plant does great in xeriscape gardens.
