Rose 'Diane Sommers'

This small and beautiful rose is perfect for container planting and landscape bordering. Although it may be small in size, it boasts bold and unique colorations that make it stand out. The rose has an average bloom size of 1.5" cupped single flowers that burst with a huge variability of contrasting colors. The petals have dark pink centers that distinctly gleam against a very light pink middle petal, with a light flush of pink at the petal tips. The rose blooms in flushes throughout the season, and the blooms may fade to almost white in hot weather. This rose has little to no fragrance and does not produce hips. However, it does have a compact 2x3' sized plant with nearly thornless stems and clean medium-green foliage. It has shown to be disease-resistant.
