Texas Sage, or Texas Barometer Bush, is a drought-tolerant evergreen shrub with lavender blooms in the Summer. Commonly known as Texas sage, it is not a true sage. It requires minimal water, is easily shaped into hedges, and blooms over the entire surface. Several popular cultivars are available. Silver Cloud has tiny silver-white foliage and dark purple flowers.
