This unusual succulent from Texas forms a clump of leaves similar to an Agave, but softer and without spines. The leaves are gray-green, covered with purple spots. The leaves will generally burn to the ground in winter, but the plant quickly recovers in the spring. Flower stalks with lavender to white flowers are produced in late spring and summer. Texas Tuberose can handle full sun to full shade, but leaf spots are more pronounced in the sun.
