Lavandula stoechas 'Ghostly Princess'
Ghostly Princess Lavender is a woody evergreen perennial with highly aromatic grey-green leaves. Stems end with thick shimmering flowerheads with tiny magenta-purple buds and large upright pale lavender-pink petals on top. Blooms heavily in spring and lightly in summer. Attractive to bees and butterflies. Deer resistant.
It grows best in full sun in dry to medium well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Handles heat better than other lavender varieties. Deadheading will promote continued blooms. Prune after the first flush of flowers and again after the second round to maintain shape.
