Hesperaloe parviflora 'MSWNPERMA'
Desert Dusk Red Yucca features showy spikes of burgundy bell-shaped flowers with gold eyes rising above the foliage from early to late spring. Its attractive succulent grassy leaves are grayish green in color. The foliage often turns burgundy in fall. It produces khaki (brownish-green) capsules in late fall.
An herbaceous evergreen perennial with a shapely form and gracefully arching foliage. It brings an extremely fine and delicate texture to the garden composition, great for planter containers or in a waterwise garden bed.
This is a relatively low maintenance plant, and is best cleaned up in early spring before it resumes active growth for the season. It is a good choice for attracting hummingbirds to your yard.
