Fragrant Mimosa

Mimosa borealis

Known as Mimosa borealis, this small ornamental shrub becomes covered with small, beautiful, fragrant pink puffballs in the spring. The bees and butterflies love this as a source of nectar and food. It is excellent for the xeric garden, but we recommend planting away from high traffic due to its thorny branches. It can take extreme heat and harsh conditions once established.
