Creating outdoor spaces you'll never want to leave.
A Wholistic Approach
We create spaces inviting to not only you but Mother Nature herself. By focusing on native plants, we bring back natural and beautiful ecosystems to your home. Design, Installation, & Maintenace all work together to create and maintain a space so that it continues to grow with you. Always inviting, never stressful.
We listen to your landscape goals and inspirations during our initial consultation visit. To create a unique look for your yard, we go back to our design office and work on an Inspiration Lookbook. As we cultivate many of our native perennials, we can recommend plants that complement your yard aesthetically and practically.
When you approve our initial recommendations, we will examine your plot survey and take any additional measurements necessary to develop a three-dimensional rendering of your property. With this rendering, we create a color map, a planting map, and architectural projections so that you can see our vision for your yard from a variety of perspectives.
After you review and approve our designs, we will send you the design files for your records. Native Gardeners are not required to install your landscape. Still, we can work with subcontractors and our installation & maintenance team to ensure that your dream landscape remains true to the original design.

Our team of Gardeners will ensure your plants receive the proper attention before we even place them in the ground.
Start to Finish
The key to a successful garden starts from the moment plants are planted by our team of gardeners. We start by removing the unwanted plants and weeds from the area and assessing the soil health to identify requirements after we've planted. Following the placement of the material, the bed is mulched to help retain moisture. Depending on the season, we'll add amendments to help establish the garden, and then perform a deep watering.
To ensure success, we work closely with our clients to assess their ongoing needs and recommend the most effective watering schedule. Following installation, we offer a complimentary follow-up visit to ensure the garden is doing well and to provide any additional instructions.
Made in the Shade
We combined shade loving natives with garden favorites such as roses, azaleas, hydrangeas & cast-iron plant to honor the period of the home.
The client wanted to bring wildlife and a sense of place to the backyard, so we brought in prairie favorites to attract native birds and pollinators.
The Client added thier own personal touches with the Whale Tail.
Bed of Sages
We combined several native salvias for a range of height, color, and bloom time.
Grow with you
We combine our knowledge of Native Plants and gardening know-how to keep your landscape thriving season after season.
Preserving to Maintain
Our goal at Native Gardeners is to create a healthy ecosystem in your outdoor spaces. We do not use chemical pesticides or herbicides, nor do we use chemical fertilizers. As part of our integrated pest management program, we provide organic pest control solutions. Our recommendation is to avoid chemical solutions if you want to ensure a healthy ecology. First-time maintenance visits should take two hours or more. Through this process, our team will be able to understand the scope of your property and the best steps to maintain a noteworthy yard.
We only use electric-powered tools to minimize noise and exhaust pollution.
Just a trim
Pruning allows for new growth and protects your property and passerby from damage by removing dead and dying branches and stubs. The plant's natural shape and healthy growth are also promoted by it, as well as deterring pests and animals.
Off with their head
After a plant has been deadheaded, the second blooms typically last longer than the originals. That's because deadheading encourages the plant to strengthen itself rather than to produce seed.
To pull or not to pull
Your beds and lawn will be free of unwanted guests, and we'll identify any species harmful to you or your animals.
