Eldarica Pine, also known as Afghan Pine, is an evergreen conifer tree with a pyramidal growth habit, becoming more irregular with age. Needles vary between rich shades of bright green, dark green and bluish green. Bark is fissured and light gray.
These medium-size trees are from southern Russia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. An excellent desert pine that tolerates heat and drought. Great used as windbreak in a landscape, due to their high wind tolerance. Also makes a wonderful living Christmas Tree.
